Hypnotised – A poem

Our days together don’t feel quite real
The sunrise, sunset routines still resume
But the clock stops on real life, plucked
And placed into a pocket universe with you.

Anthology of you – A poem

Names always seemed to sound strange to say
Maybe I was just afraid of them meaning too much,
But I just want to say yours over
And over and over, I want to savour it,
I just want to feel it roll off my tongue.
And my name sounds like a song when you say it
Or should I say sing?
I could listen to you speak for an eternity
Your words filled with life and love
And light, your face ignites with the brightness
Of your smile and your eyes,
I never want to stop looking at you.
You inspire me.
You inspire me to grow.

Illusions of Significance – A poem

You are a chapter of significance enclosed in the story of me,

Because you are teetering on the edge,
You are a question until I stop asking
But I am deciding to let it remain unanswered.

The middle of our growth
The middle of our timeline
In the middle of learning both
Who we are with each other and on our own.
I don’t know who I am yet
How can I ever expect to know who you are?

Adrift – A poem

Drifting

I’ve seen so many drift

Yet
I let them

Even if there isn’t actually a deep meaning there in the first place, the idea of anything such as piece of…

I fell in love with a bird (B.E.D.I.J day 7)

A couple of months ago now I ventured to the weird side of the river in a dream. I wasn’t aware there was a ‘weird side’ but according to the dream there is. I walked along the path beside the river and to the left side of me was a quite dark, mysterious looking forest…
